1989 GIBSON A-5L "Master Model" Mandolin
A very unusual example from the Bozeman Factory w/all "F" type features, pretty Lite Brown Sunburst finish, beautiful Spruce top w/super figured flamey Maple back, side & neck, extended Ebony fingerboard w/abolone dots, flower pot inlaid snakehead headstock w/"The Gibson" script logo in abolone, gold hardware w/engraved tuners w/pearl buttons, made by Steve P.Carlson on January 2nd, 1989, this is a very special Mandolin, near mint w/warranty paperwork, original hard shell case included.

1911 MARTIN Style 6 Special Mandolin
this is one of the rarest Mandolins ever produced by the Martin Guitar company, it is known as a Style 6, the back bowl has 42 Ribs of Brazilian Rosewood each seperated by strips of ivory, each rib was scalloped, being a late production Style 6 meant that the fingerboard was inlaid w/"Snow Flakes" like on their top line guitars of this period, it has a highly abolone inlaid tortoise'gard under the soundhole as well the same detail on it's peghead overlay, the rarest part about this Mandolin is it has the eye-catching top binding comprised of alternating blocks of white pea

With a Dark Sunburst finish, gold hardware, tight grain carved spruce top, beautiful figured maple back, sides & neck, F-5 abolone inlaid extended ebony fingerboard, 2 orange labels stating it was made by a Master Maker on 9-8-71, totally cool bound scroll headstock w/an abolone script "The Gibson" logo & Fleur de lis inlays set into a Brazilian Rosewood lamination, 100% original custom ordered in 1971 by it's original owner to 40's F-5 specs, excellent, original hard shell case included.
