Description

This is one of the cleanest & most original Style 1’s we have ever encountered, it has a stunningly beautiful & all original Nickel finish over its smooth bell brass body, it was blessed to get its rare yet not officially called the “Style 1 1/2” engraving also known as the “Wiggle” trim on all edges of its top, back & sides of its body, its 1 piece 12-fret neck is fairly fat & round & is ultra straight w/surprisingly low action, its original tuners work well too, its original tiny frets appear completely original including its factory ivroid bound ebony fingerboard that are near perfect & untouched, it has a very late 1933 serial # S5469 having the later type early transitional 5-Dot inlaid fingerboard of its 1934-5 siblings, slight play wear is at a minimum having no fade or missing areas to its finish at all (very hard to photograph w/all its light reflections), it is super clean & mirror like in appearance w/just a few slight dings here & there, it came from its original owners family that lived & performed in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, it is truly exceptionally clean in all respects, dead original & comes w/its original Black Tolex/Purple lined hard case.
