Description

This is a fabulous & desirable November 1959 Fender Stratocaster, 1 of the few made in the 1st year of Slab Rosewood Neck production, in untouched 100% original condition. It has a really neat 3-tone Brunette’burst over a lightweight alder body that’s faded nicely to a 2 1/2 Tone ‘burst. Its body is dated in the rear tremolo cavity 11/59. Its killer Slab Rosewood fingerboard sits on top of a nice maple neck having no pencil date which is as usual. It’s got a factory 11 screw clean Nitro Green’gard. Loaded w/its original set of 3 black bottom pickups & have original pots dating perfectly in time from the 48th week of 1959. Its spaghetti Logo is perfect as are its single line Kluson Deluxe tuners. 1st year Slab Neck Fenders are as hot as anything in the vintage Strat world & so few were made between May & December 1959. This is a no excuse example for the pickiest collector at a fair market price. It’s excellent overall & comes in its extremely rare original Tweed hard case.
