Well this is a very rare Bass for all of you Left Handed Bass players out there, its an original Long Scale EBO from the last & best period…now very desirable 60’s collectibles, its Cherry finish is beautifully faded as it should be yet still very rich in color, its cool factors are its single Humbucking Pickup, its 3 piece mahogany neck w/”made in USA” stamp yet having no ugly Volute, its split headstock design (notice the upside down Truss Rod Cover) & last but not least, its Twin small pickgards on both sides of its top that appear to be original factory pickgards, its pot code dates to early 1971 but all features of this iconic bass are pure 1970, the long scale is a far better bass than the short scale basses & could have been the one Jack Bruce chose instead of his EB-3 if they were available then, she’s a great player & quite an affordable vintage Gibson bass for that lucky lefty out there, she’s quite excellent overall & comes in a nice new hard Gibson case.
