This is an incredible, crazy rare 1-off special order Long Scale 12-string Guitar, totally beautiful Amaranth (also known as Purple Heart) Top & Back veneers over a Birch core, its 5 piece neck thru body is made from Flamey Maple, Birch & Amaranth, its scale length is 25 1Ž2”, its Rosewood fingerboard has pretty Mother of Pearl Oval inlays & its fancy “Snakehead” headstock has figured Walnut veneers, it’s Series I electronics include its PF6 101 & 102 pickups w/a DS5 Power Supply, it was completed on January 27th, 1977 & is certainly one of the most beautiful & historic Alembic guitars ever produced, it is exceptionally clean overall & sounds like no other 12-string on Earth, worthy of keeping in our personal collection since we do luv Alembic instruments, Brand New this would be well over $20K. retail, it comes with its original Alembic option spec sheet, an early Alembic advertisement, its Power Supply unit w/power cord in its original Black Tolex hard case.
