This is a wonderful very early 1st year issue 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom in its now extremely desirable “Silver’burst finish”. This exact color Les Paul Custom is currently made famous by guitarist Adam Jones from the band “Tool” w/his very expensive Signature model readily available. This is where it all started & it was not very popular in 1978. Its original finish is stunning especially from the front. Its ebony fingerboard has perfect frets & clean chrome hardware all over. Loaded w/a set of late 70’s Humbucking pickups along w/Pot Codes dating to 1978. It’s got some light buckle wear on the back. It’s 100% original & still exceptional overall. She comes in a nice black chainsaw molded hard case.
