This Daion Gazelle is a uniquely shaped and extremely rare double-bound single cutaway acoustic-electric made in Japan in the early 1980s. I have always liked this futuristic design. Its Spruce top is quite nice. Its Brazilian Rosewood Back & sides are quite stunning. Its mahogany neck is very comfy as its 1 11/16″ nut width. The lower bout has a deep contour, which is visually striking. it has a pronounced lower mid range and even treble with an amplified sound that is well reproduced by the onboard electronics. Its a very high quality Flat Top & a lovely sounding instrument with great versatility. Overall she’s quite excellent & comes in its original hard case.
