Stunning early production Heritage H-535 from its 2nd year in business working from Gibson’s original Kalamazoo factory, its all blonde finish has yellowed slightly showing off its gorgeous Flamey Maple top, back & sides, its got the coolest ultra thin 1 1Ž2” body depth unlike their later production version, its bound/dot inlaid fingerboard plays like butta, its 1 piece mahogany neck feels perfect. Its Grover tuners hold tune well & looks fine w/its Black painted stinger w/its “D” date coded serial #, its 2 humbucking pickups are smooth & well balanced housing its patented & rare optional “Var-I-Phase” or VIP electronics making some incredible tone & phase options, its earliest round label looks so pre-historic yet simple, this is a 1 owner guitar from a local Jazz player that is truly exceptionally clean & comes with its Heritage warranty card & Var-I-Phase instruction sheet in its original hard case.
