The iconic AJ is one of the most desirable & collectible Gibson Flat Top’s ever produced, its Adirondack spruce-top has that perfect Dark Sunburst finish, its ultra rare Brazilian Rosewood back & sides are so rare on any Gibson guitar, its got a set of repro open back Grover tuners on it but retains its original Grovers in its case, its headstock has the cool pre-War “Script” logo & arrow inlays matching its arrow & diamond inlaid Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, these AJ’s are famous for their deep bass & tonal responses, this is no exceptions, having a few top crack repairs fixed very well & some lower back side repairs & touchup, this is an affordable AJ (if one can actually look past the overall high end value of these currently), some of these are selling in the $60K.+ range, this is a good value amongst a small clientele of folks that can afford a great piece of Gibson history, she’s very good overall condition & worth the price of admission, she comes with a 80’s Gibson hard case.
