1996 Gibson Les Paul Std. LPR9 "Quilt" '59 Reissue

This is an incredible example of Gibson’s prime time in the mid-90’s to really correct their making of its original 1959 Les Paul Std. Special Ordered new by Elliott Rubinson owner of Thoroughbred Music in Tampa & sold to its only owner, Mr. Joe DelFrate until this week. Its beautifully faded Ice Tea ’burst finish is quite surreal over 1 of the best “Quilted” Maple top. It was made w/out using a pickgard ever from new for obvious reasons. Its see-thru cherry red back, sides & neck are brilliant utilizing some exceptionally figured mahogany. She’s equipped w/2 early factory PAF pickups. Its original pots are dated to 1996. It’s sporting a set of Kluson Deluxe tuners w/a nickel tun-a-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. Lightweight ! This is an exhilarating Les Paul unlike any other from their Custom Shop. It is truly Near Mint & comes w/its most importent case candy all in its original brown hard case.
