Description
This is a well-designed and well-engineered Guild Bluesbird guitar that takes a popular solid body design and expands upon it for more versatility. This guitar features a larger chambered body with a single cutaway and dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The chambered body helps keep the guitar lightweight but also allows the sound to open up very nicely. This is also thanks in part to the body size which allows for an open sound without sacrificing sustain. The pickups have plenty of output yet clean up nicely via the volume control and the tone control can be rolled back for a beautiful and warm tone ideal for Jazz. The tone controls are very usable and really give this guitar some great versatility ! Its got a Chambered mahogany body with a bound maple top in a Gold Top finish, stop Tailpiece with Adjust-o-matic bridge and skirted control knobs. Its neck is nicely rounded mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid block inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Its loaded w/a Seymour Duncan 59NL humbucker in the neck and a 59B humbucker in the bridge. Dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch. Its very Gibson like but quite a bit cooler tone w/its semi-hollow body like a 335. She’s excellent overall & comes in its original hard case.
