This is a wonderful find of a Flying V Bass that we’ve not seen ever since its production 20 years ago by the Gibson Custom Shop. It is a 1 of a kind very special ordered 1958 Flying V Reissue in a beautiful TV Yellow Limed Mahogany finish. What makes this so special is that it is nothing like any Flying V Bass of the past. It has a beautifully grainy mahogany body w/a huge 1 piece neck housing a pair of Gibson Humbucking Bass pickups w/Chrome covers & a fully adjustable chrome bridge. It also sports a White pickgard & input jack circular plate a la Korina Flying V’s. What make this totally crazy is its sharp pointy 50’s headstock & cool rubber knee pad rest unlike any Bass made in the past. It is like new & weighs only 8 3/4 lbs. It comes w/its original checklist brochure w/serial in place in its original & very unusual Brown/Pink Lined hard case w/TV yellow piping on its ends. Oh-So cool special order !
