Description
Rick Turner is known for his unique way of building, and of course the famous Lindsey Buckingham ‘Model one’. The Renaissance series delivers a much broader frequency range then traditional basses. This 21 year old five-string Fretless model built in 2002 has a 35″ scale length w/a beautiful striped rosewood fretboard and light weight. Constructed like true acoustic instruments w/its beautiful tortoise bound Cedar Top & pretty very figured Walnut back & sides. Having bent sides and a braced tone wood top and back, the Renaissance series truly represents the best way to achieve acoustic tone plugged in. The construction feature that sets Rick Turner instruments apart is the Western Red Cedar center block that prevents feedback and yet provides an acoustically live foundation for the D-TAR Timberline pickup system. This is truly excellent overall & includes its original gig bag.
