Description

This is one of the rarest guitars ever to come out of Nashville, this is the predecessor to any & all Grammer guitars ever produced,  J.W,Gower & his dad were making guitars in their garage since 1955, in 1964 J.W. joined in with Billy Grammer & Clyde Reid to become Grammer Guitars, this guitar was a super rare early example made solely by J.W.Gower, its Dark Sunbvurst finish is gorgeous over its tight grained Spruce top, its back & sides are made from the choicest book matched colorful & striped Brazilian Rosewood, it has what was to become the Gower trademarks of its pre-Grammer styled headstock design to its cool curved white bound Black plastic pickgard & its cool shaped bridge design, its label states the Nashville Musical Instruments Co. in “Music City”, its open back Grover tuners were unlike the Rotomatic tuners Grammer guitars were to use, this is one early production guitar that is irreplaceable today, it is excellent overall showing some age & play time, she comes with a late model molded hard case.
