Description
The 2014 Gibson 120th Anniversary Flying V featured a thinner mahogany body, mahogany neck with a slim ’60s profile, bound rosewood fretboard with a “120th” banner inlay, and classic hardware like Grover tuners and a Tune-o-Matic bridge, powered by Burstbucker pickups (often Pro models) for vintage tone, all in a limited-run celebration of Gibson’s heritage. Its Aged Cherry finish is quite extrordinary w/its mahogany grain showing thru. Inspected on 6/24/14 & its a featherweight at only 7 lbs. 4 oz. It’s a fantastic user friendly guitar that’s exceptionally clean & comes w/some case candy in its original brown tolex case.
