1949 Martin 000-18

This original stunning example is a 77 year old 1949 Martin 000-18 with that cool bluegrass tone. These are so rare today as most guitars produced were of the more popular Dreadnaught type. It’s got a beautiful patinated spruce top over some pretty Mahogany having a 2 piece back & sides. Its rosewood fingerboard & bridge are in nice shape. It’s got a set of Kluson open back tuners that hold tune well. Finally its factory tortoise’gard amazingly is still intact. Its had a neck reset at some point & plays wonderfully. It’s excellent overall having no cracks or repairs & it comes in a nice newer Martin hard case.
