Description

Check out this really outragious & extremely collectible 1965 Fender Precision Bass w/all Pre-CBS features that literally is like new from back in 1965. It has an original unfaded Olympic White nitro finish over an alder body, its very colorful 1st of the pearl dot inlaid Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards date stamped January 1965, she has the white-ist maple neck w/some fabulous grain & figuring we’ve seen during these late Leo’s years. Its also has a minty tortoise pickgard. Its split pickup is super smooth. Its pot codes date to the 50th week of 1964. It’s insane to find one from under the bed ever & for a 60 year old original, they do not get any better. What makes this even cooler is that it just came from “Robin Trower’s” Bass player, Mr. Glen Letsch, from his personal collection of the last 15+ years. This bass has never been taken apart from birth ever until now as it’s still sporting its factory original installed blue cloth wrapped Flat Wound Fender Flat strings. It’s truly Mint overall w/only some very faint checking w/almost no aging to its finish. It’s complete w/its original Fender polishing cloth, cord & leather strap all in its minty matching original Black Tolex hard case.
