1992 Fender Precision Bass Custom Shop 40th Anniversary

This is a very rare Limited Run Fender Custom Shop 40th Anniversary Precision Bass #164 of 400. It’s got a wonderful see-thru Amber finish over 1 of the best Flamey Maple Tops we’ve ever encountered over a very figured Ash bodies. Its Maple neck has very figured Birdseye Maple w/a Smith era small headstock. This bass is excellent and sounds wonderful. It features a pair of Active Fender P-J Lace Sensor pickups w/3 Stacked Concentric knobs. Its all gold parts finish her off nicely. Its bridge still sports its fine tune adjustment screws. The COA is dated January 1992. It’s Exceptional all around & truly near mint with very minimal evidence of being played. It also has copies of an original owners manual showing what each pot is capable of doing. It’s complete w/its original Tweed Case.
