1998 Curbow XT-33 Petite 5-String Bass

Greg Curbow was an amazing builder of amazing basses like no others. This made in the USA Petite 5-string example is 1 of the finest we’ve seen using some fabulous wood selections. Its body is made from some killer Swamp Ash w/a figured Walnut top lamination. Its insanely figured Rockwood neck feels fantastic w/nice wide spaces for any style of playing. Its single Bartolini pickup & Greg’s original active circuitry have a thump like no other bass we’ve owned. Its black hardware & locking Sperzel tuners work perfectly. Its 4 digit serial # clearly states its from 1998. These US made basses are very scarce as so many were made by Cort of Japan. Greg passed away back in 2005 & the world lost 1 great master builder. It’s exceptionally clean overall & comes in its original hard case.
