Description
This beautiful RN6 Cedar / Ziricote is a lightweight stage acoustic nylon string guitar handmade in Santa Cruz, California by Rick Turner Guitars. These guitars reproduce full frequency acoustic tone for recording and performing. The thinline body is built like a fine acoustic guitar, but with an added Cedar center block to cut feedback. A Turner Timberline piezo bridge pickup feeds full spectrum signals to an 18v D-TAR Wavelength preamp. Constructed like true acoustic instruments, with bent sides and a braced tonewood top and back, the Renaissance series truly represents the best way to achieve acoustic tone plugged in. This Renaissance is in very clean shape. She’s sporting a satin finish all over. Its cedar top is tight grain, its Ziricote back & sides are incredibly striped & colorfully figured. Serial #’s stamped on top of the headstock define what year & what production #. Adjustable trim pots accessible via small flathead screw driver on the electronics base plate. Its wooden knobs finish her off. It’s easy to fall in love with this incredible piece of art, especially after you play it. Slightly under 4 lbs and 7 ozs, this is a featherweight, precise, stunningly crafted boutique guitar that is ready to be a main player. Simply there is too much to say about this guitar, from its construction down the legacy of the brand. A somewhat rare, revolutionary instrument with a history of excellence could be yours today. She’s excellent & all original & comes in a nice padded gig bag.
