2006 Roscoe Standard Century 6 String Bass

These are some cool basses made by Keith Roscoe. Roscoe’s most famous player is still Jimi Haslip from the Yellow Jackets. This exact model Standard w/a Century body style was bought new & used exclusivly by Mr. Jeff Carswell, a very famous local bass player who worked w/Jaco on many projects. It’s got a beautiful grainy Swamp Ash body in natural satin finish, maple neck with purpleheart center lamination and maple & Cherry accent laminations, wenge fingerboard, diamond wood nut, black hardware, Nordstrand Dual Coil 6 string pickups, Audere preamp 3ZB/R with master volume, pickup blend, low & high mid control, treble & bass, all cut/boost. 3 position Z-mode switch for low, normal & high Z settings. At first glance, with the starting base retail price of $2,625.00, one might think the Roscoe Standard is an import model made “overseas” with a lack of quality and attention to detail. But that is not the case with this bass guitar. The Roscoe Standard is 100% USA made in our factory located in Greensboro, NC by the same craftsmen that hand make all of our amazing line of custom instruments. The Roscoe Standard is produced with the same craftsmanship and attention to detail that has given Roscoe Guitars the reputation for the highest of quality in the industry for over 30-years. You won’t find a bass guitar in this price range that compares to the Roscoe Standard. It’s truly in a class of its own. It’s also personally signed by Jeff Carswell.
