2010 Gibson Les Paul Std. aged '59 Reissue Replica by Brian Monty

This is a very cool Gibson Les Paul Std. ’59 Reissue made by Canadian luthier, Brian Monty, for a client whom bought them completed w/o parts to be completed by its owner. Brian is renowned for his incredibly authentic ’59 Les Paul conversions. The typical approach is to start with a genuine solid mahogany Gibson Les Paul body – any year is fine – but it must be solid – and it must be an authentic Gibson – not a copy. Brian builds the rest, including his ever popular ’59 neck. It’s got a magnificent Honey’burst finish over a wild quilty-flamey maple top. Its got a nice fat mahogany neck. It’s loaded with/a set of Seymour Duncan “Seth Lovers” w/raw metal nickel covers. It’s lightweight & very user friendly. It’s an exceptional axe & comes with/a nice brown token hard case.
