1960 Fender Stratocaster

This is the ultimate original & perhaps the most popular era Pre-CBS Stratocaster on the planet. It has its original see-thru Ash Body Blonde finish under its pickgard as its original owner sanded it down w/out removing the pickgard. Its had a fantastic lightly relic’d refinish applied back to match the finish under the gard. It’s incredible & looks original. These 1960 Strats with their “Slab” Rosewood fingerboards were the best period prior to when they changed to a veneer of rosewood post-July 1962. This has a pencil neck date of 11/60 & its neck is dead original in both finish & decals. These are quite perfect in both feel & playability like no others. its original Green’gard is quite clean & crack free. Its 3 Pickups are absolutely fantastic w/that quintessential Strat tone ! Its pot date codes are from the 43rd week of 1960. Its so cool from its Kluson nickel tuners to its pat. pend. 6 saddle bridge. She has a gorgeous patina for a 66 year old original, it plays & feels incredible.
