1959 Fender Stratocaster

This is the ultimate all original & perhaps the very last production run Pre-CBS Stratocaster w/a Maple neck & all early ’59 features in all original condition. It has its original slightly faded 3-Tone Brown’burst finish over a very lightweight Alder body pencil dated 11/58 & weighing in at a featherweight 7 lbs. 1 oz. These early 59’s were the last made Maple Necks, this one being pencil dated 3/59 & are quite wide & have a flat/thin feel like no others. It’s sporting a very low serial # (31XXX) stamped on its 4-bolt neck plate, its original single layer pickgard has 1 crackle in it. Its 3 Pickups are absolutely fantastic w/that quintessential Strat tone !, Its pot date codes are from the 39th week of 1958, Its so cool from its nickel tuners to its pat. pend. 6 saddle bridge, its all original other than a pro-refret by Gruhn’s. She has a gorgeous patina for a 65 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, other than having some major play time, she’s still rather Excellent. 1 of the coolest & most desirable examples on Earth, she comes complete w/its original Tweed case.
