Description
This is a very cool 1964 Gibson SG Std. in the beautiful beat sweet faded cherry finish. This is a very rare & original Harrison “Beatle” spec SG Std. This has a nice 1 piece mahogany neck that is 1 11/16″ wide at the nut. It is in very good shape overall w/a ton of patina & has a powerful pair of Reissue PAF’s of unknown origin, that kick ass for sure. It’s equipped w/a set of original double line double ring Kluson tuners w/a factory long Maestro Vibrato unit. Its pickgard is beautiful & goes well w/its nickel parts & chrome capped black knobs. Its had a hard life w/a well repaired headstock crack & a pair of stop bar holes drilled out in the top. The coolest part of this vibey bad ass SG is that it’s autographed by none other than the slide king himself, “Mr. Dickey Betts” w/pics to prove its authenticity. But the cool factor just flows from this bad boy as you can see. It’s been played a bunch & ready to gig with today. It’s a very cool 61 year old user friendly axe ready to rip on some Allman or Beatle gigs. It’s quite cool in every respect & comes in a decent hard case.
