1965 Fender Jazz Bass

We luv Fender Jazz Basses more than any other vintage bass & for good reasons. This stunning all original example from 1965 was ordered in 1 of Fenders best Custom Colors, this unfaded Firemist Gold Metallic finish is over a fairly lightweight Alder body w/a matching Firemist Gold Headstock, it exhibits a bit of its white undercoat showing thru from use, its “Unbound” Rosewood Dot neck is super slim & has its original logo perfectly intact, she has a stamped neck date of November 1965 making it 1 of the very last great 3 knobs produced under Leo’s watch, its got an ultra cool original White pickgard, its 2 pickups are super smooth w/that quintessential “Jaco” sound !, its pot date codes are from the 42nd week of 1965, its so cool from its original tuners to its threaded saddle bridge still sporting its chrome bridge & pickup covers along with most every single screw from new, it plays & feels incredible, has a few dings & some decent play time, its still 1 of the best & most desirable examples on Earth, comes complete in her original Black Tolex/Blue lined Hard Case.
