The Gibson Hummingbird is among the most iconic models from Gibson, with a roster of legendary players that includes Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, and Mick Jagger. It holds a prestigious status among acoustic guitars and is arguably the most visually stunning of all Gibson models. This beautiful 1968 Gibson Hummingbird has a rich Cherry Sunburst finished Spruce Top w/a see-thru cherry red back, sides & neck. Its bound rosewood fingerboard has double parallelogram inlays. It’s still sporting its groovy pickgard perfectly intact. It’s got its Gold Kluson Deluxe double line w/single ring tuners. Its rosewood bridge has its factory adjustable saddle. Its Orange Oval Label is still clean & dates perfectly to 1968. Overall she’s crack free & has a wonderful tone & playability that’s ready to enjoy. It delivers a fantastic vintage sound. It boasts a strong attack and rich bass without becoming muddy, making it one of the best-sounding Gibson dreadnought guitars we’ve encountered. It carries a unique character and history that is simply amazing ! She’s excellent in every way & comes in a non-original hard case.
