1972 Gretsch 7691-B Super Chet

This is a wonderful example of a 1972 Gretsch 7691-B Super Chet. It has a distinctive Walnut finish over maple on its front, back & sides. Its bound ebony fingerboard & headstock feature some very ornate abalone inlays, its serial # stamped into the back of the headstock dated to October 1972.  The set of powerful Filter’trons really kick ass. It’s Black & Gold lucite’gard house 5 knobs all working perfectly. It’s sporting a set of factory Schaller tuners. It’s got a “Roller” bridge & equipped w/its cool “V” cutout Bigsby vibrato. These Super Chets are so over the top w/tons of body, F-hole & side bindings that are all perfect. It’s truly near mint in all respects & she comes complete w/its clean original gray tolex hard case.
