2013 Warrior Isabella '59 Brazilian

Designed by Rick Derringer along w/JD from Warrior guitars, this is Ricks personal view of what a Gibson Les Paul Std. ’59 Reissue would be w/a Warrior Isabella design. With tremendous attention to detail, these hand-crafted instruments are the image of perfection. Made with premium aged Mahogany, a dark Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard & a stunning 5A Flamed Maple w/a ridiculous carved top serving as the foundation, the Isabella 59 is built to ’59 spec – preserving the vintage feel and tone while yielding an instrument that is flawless in its craftsmanship. This instrument is akin to a museum piece aesthetically, but unlike most some of this caliber, it begs to be played ! The neck design and feel is true to the era, it’s got a nice fat feel like a ’59 Les Paul Std; so fans of vintage guitars will be more than pleased. It plays better than it looks w/a strong, clear voice produced by the vintage, hand-wound pickups. These pickups are perfectly calibrated and give you the best qualities of a vintage PAF pickup. The Neck pickup is warm and bluesy without being too much and the bridge pickup has a nice vocal midrange that cuts through the mix. This guitar is an iconic example of a “better” singlecut design. With top quality Brazilian becoming more and more coveted and scarce, this instrument is an investment that will continue to appreciate over time. Additionally, the lower serial number and signature make it even more desirable. It’s not often than an instrument catches you off guard, but the Warrior guitars are simply an inspiration to play. This guitar is the complete package, she’s certainly exceptionally clean & comes with its vintage style Lifton case.
