2016 HD-28 "Herringbone" Custom Shop Dreadnaught Centennial

This Custom Shop HD-28 is a flat picker’s dream for a nice 10 year old ‘bone ! Its spruce top is beautiful w/its Herringbone trim all over its outer top border & sound hole.  It’s got spectacular Indian Rosewood back & sides. It’s stamped by the Custom Shop & designated it was for the Dreadnaught Centennial. Its production level is superb & it plays & sounds fabulous. It has tons of headroom, it’s loud as all-git-out, and it sounds rich and robust without sounding tubby so chords ring out clearly and single notes sound punchy. The low-end is deep and delightfully warm, and the low E string will rattle your ribs. The midrange packs more of a punch than we expect from a rosewood-bodied dreadnought, and the highs have an embarrassment of sweet overtones. Overall it is in certainly excellent in all respects & comes w/some paperwork in its original molded hard case.
