2020 Warrior Isabella 5-String Bass

As a bass player that likes anything from Rufus/Chaka Khan, Sly & James Brown to Bad Company to Blake Shelton…I am a diverse player that generally likes to funk ! JD at Warrior Basses I feel is 1 of the top 3 Boutique Bass manufactures on the planet today. This is a recent example of JD’s take on an aged Isabella 5-string Bass signed by “J Dran” & made completely of a stunning ebony stained grainy Maple Top & a lightweight Swamp Ash back. It’s got this cool really heavy carved top & it’s nicely relic’d, feels like it’s 50 years old. Its neck is wide & full size w/a nice dark ebony fingerboard on a great feeling maple neck. Its 1 Humbucking & 1 single coil pickups sound incredible with Warriors active electronics. It’s featherweight at just over 8 lbs. ! I luv these basses as they play like butter & sounds perfect live & in the studio. She’s excellent overall & comes in a nice generic hard case.
