2006 Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe 60th Anniversary

This is a modern interpretation of a classic Stratocaster® guitar with a little extra “oomph” The American Deluxe Series Strat® guitar is all that and more ! It’s one of Fenders best guitars made during the mid-2000’s for both its looks & its playability. Its Cherry Sunburst finish is over a very grainy ash body w/a white pearloid pickgard. It features Samarium Cobalt Noiseless™ Strat® pickups, S-1™ switching system and a two-point synchronized tremolo with stainless steel saddles, this guitar is built for speed ! Its modern “C”-shape maple neck has a satin polyurethane finish w/colorful abalone inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. It’s in near mint overall condition & comes in its original hard case.

Pickups Overview

Classic Strat performance without the noise !

Stick a set of Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups in your Fender Stratocaster for souped-up, fireball feel and authentic tone in a noise-free design. The Fender mod shop designed these Strat SCN pickups to deliver tried-and-true Stratocaster sound with huge bite and no noise. The bridge pickup has a DC resistance of 11.6K with inductance of 3.8 Henries. The middle pickup has a DC resistance of 6.5K with inductance of 2.4 Henries. The neck has a DC resistance of 6.5K and inductance of 2.4 Henries.

A special combination of traditional magnets and Samarium Cobalt magnetic material delivers incredible dynamic and magnetic response. These pickups pack more than 50 years of Fender tone heritage while giving you absolutely authentic, noise-free Stratocaster sound and feel. This pickup set comes as standard equipment in Fender’s American Deluxe Strats.
