1976 Music Man Stingray Bass

This is 1 of the coolest Stingrays we have ever had. This clean original example is the 42nd Bass made from the earliest 1st batch of “Radio Knob” Stingrays from mid-1976. Its 3-tone Sunburst finish is still very vibrant & super clean over its lightweight grainy ash body having a body date stamp of August 23rd, 1976. It has a very desirable super feeling Maple neck w/a ton of flame throughout & date stamped July 9th 1976. Its original teardrop White pickgard is clean, its electronics are untouched w/its original epoxy wrapped preamp & pots dated to the 18th week of 1976. This was the 1st of the String-thru bodies, she’s only 8 lbs. 12 oz. It is 100% original & in exceptionally clean condition other than a few small spots of strap dye, it comes with its original hang tag in its original black tolex/yellow lined hard case w/its original Music Man logo plate.
